Delete your Noomad account
This page explains how to delete your account in Noomad, the research app by Etnograf Research Consultancy and Private Health Services Ltd., and what happens to your data.
1. Delete your account in the app
- Open the Noomad app and sign in.
- Tap your profile picture in the top-right corner.
- Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
- Tap Yes, Delete My Account. If you signed up with an email and password, enter your password to confirm.
Your account is deleted right away and you are signed out.
2. Ask us to delete your account
If you can’t use the app, email info@noomad.co from the email address you use for Noomad, with the subject “Delete my Noomad account”. We delete your account within 30 days and confirm by email.
3. What we delete
Right away
- Your sign-in details: email and password, or the link to your Google or Apple account
- Your profile: name, email address, profile photo, bio, language and notification settings
- Everything you shared in studies: answers, check-ins, notes, onboarding answers, schedules and reminders, and your study memberships and invitations
- Workspaces you own alone, with their studies and data (researchers only). If a workspace you own has other members, transfer its ownership first.
Within 30 days
- Photos and files you added to your answers
- Usage analytics linked to your account
4. What we keep
- An empty account record with a random ID, the name “Deleted user” and the deletion date. It holds no name, email address or other personal details, and keeps study records consistent. It is kept as long as the studies it belongs to.
- Copies of answers in AI analyses that researchers already made of a study. They show a participant ID, not your name or email address. They are deleted when the researcher deletes the analysis or the study.
- Crash and performance reports from the app. They are deleted automatically after 30 days.
